OUR STORY
When Brennan Title Company started in 1991, it had barely enough capital to survive. By the year 2011, the company had grown to 10 offices in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia.
Every human being needs food, water and shelter. These needs are not only essential for survival, but are vital in helping people address more complex needs like mental and physical health, relationships, sobriety, long-term housing, and employment. John M. Brennan, President of Brennan Title Company, formed Help for the Hungry & Homeless in December, 2011 with the purpose of providing relief to the poor, distressed, and underprivileged. Our organization was founded on the idea that, when community members are given the tools they need to thrive, they in turn will build not only themselves up, but there own family and community as well. It is because of this belief that we seek out opportunities that build up individuals, encourage independence, and promote personal progression. Our donations are intended to help individuals take the right steps towards self-sufficiency. We believe that our mission provides the greatest chance of a long-term result in the progression of underprivileged individuals, families, and communities.
Help for the Hungry and Homeless focuses its donations on safe, vetted and legitimate charities, families and individuals. Our fundraising originates in part from donations we receive from our generous sponsors, many of whom are part of the BTC family including our managers and processors. However, we also organize events and service projects to raise money for specific tragedies, disasters, and impoverished communities. Since our inception, Help for Hungry and Homeless has helped those in need around the world obtain suitable living conditions and improve their quality of life.
We have had the privilege of seeing the difference that a little bit of help can make for the lives of those less fortunate. As we continue to grow our organization, we hope to find others who share our goals and vision for the future so that we may have the greatest possible effect on struggling individuals, communities, and countries.
